Pricing and billing
Is the first class really free?
Yes! Come try a class for free, meet a coach and see the gym before you decide anything.
How much do classes cost?
Most classes are $99 a month. Stunt School is $129 a month, and Tumble Labs (semi-private, with 1 to 2 other athletes) are $179 a month. DayTime Playtime is $10 per family, per visit. Every class card above shows its price.
How does billing work?
Classes are month to month, with no contract. Billing and account changes are handled in FullOut. To stop, email admin@northernlightskeene.com at least 14 days ahead, and come back whenever it works for your family.
Can I pay with an EFA or through KHKC?
Yes. Northern Lights is an approved Education Freedom Account vendor, so EFA families can pay for classes through ClassWallet. Joining through Keene Housing Kids Collaborative? Email admin@northernlightskeene.com and cc sally@thekidscollab.org, and we will get you set up.
Ages and abilities
My child has never done cheer or tumbling. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Most families start brand new. Classes are leveled, so every athlete learns safely at their own pace.
How young can they start?
Tot Tumble starts at 18 months and Preschool Tumble at 3. DayTime Playtime is a drop-in open gym for kids 18 months to 5 on Thursday mornings. Most other classes start at age 6.
How do I know which level is right?
Use Find your class above for our best guess, then book that class. After the free trial, your coach will recommend the right level, and coaches move athletes up as their skills grow.
Are classes for boys too?
Yes. Every class is open to boys and girls, and Boys Tumble is an all-boys option.
Do they have to join a team?
Not at all. Plenty of athletes take classes just for fun. Rec Cheer, Performance Cheer and All Star are there when they’re ready.
Booking and FullOut
Why do I need a FullOut account?
FullOut is the app we use for class sign-ups, waivers and billing. Every athlete needs a signed waiver on file before taking part, so every family starts with a free account. When you tap Book Your Free Trial Class, we take you straight to Create account, then right back to the class time you picked.
I already have a FullOut account. What do I do?
Tap Book Your Free Trial Class on any class, pick a time, then choose Sign in instead. You’ll land on the same class.
Need help signing up?
We’re happy to walk you through it. Fill out the class help form on this page, or text us at (603) 945-0048.
What happens if a class is cancelled or there’s a snow day?
Families get a message in FullOut and/or Band, and the class will show as cancelled in the FullOut app. Snow days work the same way. Each athlete in a cancelled class gets a makeup token to use in a class of the same level. Makeups must be used by April 1. Any not used by then are forfeited, with no cash refunds or extensions.
Watching and visiting
Can I watch a practice first?
Of course! Text us at (603) 945-0048 and we’ll find a good time for you to stop by.
Where can parents watch?
Families watch from our viewing room. Please keep bags, phones and belongings on the viewing room shelves, never in the hallways or near the doors.
How do we find the entrance?
We’re at 250 Marlboro St, at the end of the building facing downtown Keene. Use the last door on the left, with the Northern Lights logo on it. The big garage door is not an entrance.
What should they wear and bring?
Comfortable athletic clothes that are easy to move in, and bare feet or indoor shoes. No socks, because they’re slippery on our mats! Water is the only drink allowed on the mats.
Can I drop my child off?
Please drop off only for an active class, private lesson or practice, and arrive on time. Our coaches are with their classes, so we aren’t able to watch children outside of class time.
