Privacy and texting terms

How Northern Lights Athletics handles your information and our text messages, in plain language.

Northern Lights Athletics (“Northern Lights,” “we” or “us”) is a cheer and tumbling gym at 250 Marlboro St, Keene, NH 03431. This page explains what information we collect through this website and our text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Text messaging terms

Short version: If you check the box to get texts, Northern Lights Athletics will text you about classes, your free trial and your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

Who sends them: Northern Lights Athletics, from (603) 945-0048.
What you’ll get: information about classes, how to book a free trial, trial confirmations and reminders, a few follow-up messages after a trial or when you enroll, and replies to questions you ask us.
How often: message frequency varies. Most families get a few messages over their first weeks with us. We don’t send automated texts before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m.
Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opting out: reply STOP to any message and we’ll stop texting you. To start getting texts again, just text us.
Help: reply HELP, call or text (603) 945-0048, or email info@northernlightskeene.com.
Your choice: agreeing to texts is never required to sign up for a class or buy anything from us.
Your number stays with us: we do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with anyone else for their marketing. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, except the texting provider that delivers our messages for us.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site (for example, “Get class info by text”), we collect what you type in: your name, mobile number, email address if you add it, your child’s first name and age, what you’re interested in, whether you agreed to texts, and which page you were on.

When you text us or reply to our texts, we keep the messages so we can answer you and keep track of your questions.

When you use the “Ask Northern Lights” helper, we keep the questions you type and its answers so we can improve it. If you ask us to text you back, we also collect your first name and mobile number. Please don’t type health details or other sensitive information into the helper.

Registration, billing and payments happen in FullOut, our family portal, and payments at the gym go through Square. Those companies handle that information under their own privacy policies.

Basic website data. Like most websites, our host (WordPress.com) may collect standard technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, and may use cookies for site statistics and security. This site also saves a few small preferences in your own browser, such as the team you picked on the Parent hub. We don’t use advertising cookies or sell ads.

How we use it

To answer your questions and help you find the right class, team, camp or party.
To send the texts you agreed to, like class info, trial reminders and follow-ups.
So our front desk can follow up with you personally.
To run the gym: registration, billing, scheduling and safety.
To improve our website and the way we communicate with families.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the companies that help us run the gym and this website, and only so they can do that work for us:

Quo sends and receives our text messages.
Google (Google Workspace) stores our form responses and follow-up lists.
FullOut runs class registration, billing and our family portal.
Square processes payments and gift cards.
Jotform runs some of our forms.
Anthropic provides the AI that powers the “Ask Northern Lights” helper and processes the questions typed into it.
WordPress.com hosts this website.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our athletes, families and staff.

Children

This website is meant for parents and guardians. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Information about a child, such as a first name and age, comes from the parent or guardian who fills out the form. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us at info@northernlightskeene.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text to stop our messages.
Ask us to see, correct or delete the information you’ve given us through this website by emailing info@northernlightskeene.com or texting (603) 945-0048.
Account, registration and billing details can be updated in FullOut or by contacting the front desk.

We keep information only as long as we need it to serve your family and run the gym, and we protect it with reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information like health details through our website forms or helper.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
